Working modes

You can select the working mode with the two option buttons in the top left corner of the software.

There are two working modes possible.

Folder mode

This is a mode to quickly access images inside a folder and edit and process them.

In the folder mode you are free to assign any channel to the images. You can also choose the output folder you want.

Job mode (this is a feature of the Professional Version only)

You should use the job mode if you have to work on many customer orders. In Job mode you first copy all image files from the customers CD or memory card into job folders on your computer. Once the images of a customer are saved in job folders you do not need the customers Cd’s, diskettes or memory cards anymore. If you have later to edit and process the images this works much faster as the images are on your hard drive.

Inside a job you can already assign different channels to the images. When you later work with this job, the right channel will be automatically chosen from the channel list.

This is also the way to work when you print on a fast digital minilab and you use a Colour-Science printer driver.

This way already when you read the images from the customer’s media you can set the right paper formats.
