Introduction 

 

The i2e image enhancement software is a demonstration of the features of our i2e library. The software offers now the following enhancement stages:

 

·         automatic color enhancement (ACE)

·         automatic contrast enhancement (ABE1)

·         automatic density (gamma) correction (ABE2)

·         local brightness enhancement in the shadows and highlights (SHE)

·         memory color enhancement of skin-, sky- and vegetation colors (MCE)

·         advanced unsharp masking and local sharpening technology (AUM)

 

With the registered version of the software selections of images and whole folders of images can be processed automatically with the batch processing capability. You will see that even if you own a high-end digital camera you can achieve a big increase in quality for your images!

For production use you should use the fully automatic Q-Enhancer batch processing software. This software allows you to define multiple hot folder batch processing queues. It also allows you to apply source and destination ICC profiles to the images.
