Image segmentation is a very important process when you want to understand an image. The i2e library segments images in different regions. These regions are available as masks and those masks are normally used to calculate color casts or to locally enhance an image.

	Example of a Sky Lab 3D scatter diagram made in Matlab. The color space of sky colors has been extracted from many sample images. It represents a sort of ellipsoid in Lab color space. Like for sky color also all other important colors are predefined in i2e.
